DIY Dog Treats
Jan 21, 2013
These dog treats are so easy to whip up for your pooch. Even for me, because I take forever when I bake/cook something. I picked up a bone cookie cutter and a recipe from the dollar section at Target, but you can use any kind of cutter for this.
Ingredients:
1/2 cups water
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
4 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 oats
Blend water, oil, eggs, and vanilla together. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cornmeal, and oats together and then pour into wet mixture. Now add the peanut butter and mix all ingredients until you form a ball of dough. Roll out and shape. Put onto a non-stick lightly greased cookie tray. Cook 20 minutes at 400 F. Turn off oven and allow the biscuits to cool in oven until crisp and hard. Store in airtight container.
I made about 3 1/2 dozen treats with a 3-inch cookie cutter.

These are the best treats in the entire universe. You must try them! I promise you will LOVE them!
Ingredients:
9 Tbsp melted buttter
28 oz sweetened condensed milk (2 cans)
2 sleeves graham crackers
3 cups chocolate chips
Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix the butter and milk. With a plastic baggie and rolling pin, grind the graham crackers into dust (or do this in a food processor). Add the grahams and chocolate chips to the butter. Stir thoroughly. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees (F) approx. 30 minutes, 'til golden brown on top. Cool, then chill in fridge for at least 4-6 hours. Serve chilled or room temp.
You could also half the recipe and use a 9" square pan. But since that's only enough for one person, why bother? xo. Kate

Reese's S'mores
Oct 21, 2012
When we went to California last month, one of my mom's old friends gave us the idea of using Reese's instead of normal Hershey's chocolate in s'mores. It was delicious!
I thought I would share this tip for you, since I know Fall is one of the biggest s'more makin' seasons!
mmmmm....

Valentine Cookie Photo Shoot + Photography Tips
Feb 5, 2012
The other day I had fun listening to 80's music and decorating Valentine heart-shaped cookies!
I had some fun doing my first cookie-shoot (I guess you could call it).
I wanted to share how I did my photos, and also how I decorated these yummy cookies!
I'm pretty sure I have a craft disorder. Every time i'm given something (like a cookie for example!),
I always have to make it as perfect and creative as I can. I always end up taking much longer than I intend, placing little heart sprinkles on the edge of my cookie. Looks adorable. Takes forever.
Now, this cookie I 'designed' for when I feel less-sugary (if that's possible). Since I really wasn't getting fancy with these cookies, I made some sloppy-ish stripes with a butter knife. It is possible.
